AUGUST 2019

ArtistsPlus joined Artistic Director Tatjana Rankovich and other amazing artists from all over the world for the 2nd Annual 'Music & More SummerFest' held in the beautiful town of Trebinje, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Performances took place at a stunning hillside amphitheater 

overlooking the city as well as a traditional theatre and included new dance choreography for two works by composer Ionel Petroi (Sunny Waltz and A Wild Run), as well as Piazzolla's Libertango and the

Beethoven Violin Sonata No. 4.

Come Together: The Soundtrack

of Our Lives

Shauna Goddard Barger choreographed (and Diane DeFranco Browne performed!) for the final concert of the Angeles Chorale's 43rd season - Stories: Life Set to Song. From choral classics to Beatles favorites, Artistic Director John Sutton closed out the season on a high note with new works and re-imagined favorites for a rockin' good time.

MAY 2018

Music for the Child in All of Us

Interactive, fun, and fresh! ArtistsPlus joined the Angeles Chorale for Artistic Director John Sutton's “ Young Person’s Guide to the Chorus.”  Special Guest David Prather hosted this playful and educational concert choreographed by Shauna Goddard Barger.

DECEMBER 2017

I'll Be Home for Christmas

Choreographer Jackie Kopcsak was thrilled to collaborate once again with maestro John Sutton to incorporate dance into the Angeles Chorale's beautiful 2017 holiday concert. Two dancers from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance helped bring to life a story of a World War II soldier returning home at Christmastime.

APRIL 2017

Appalachian Spring

ArtistsPlus joined the illustrious American Youth Symphony for the second half of their 2017 Members Priority Concert featuring Aaron Copland's iconic "Appalachian Spring." Under the expert direction of Maestro Juan Felipe Molano and with choreography by Jackie Kopcsak, the five dancers cast an enchanting spell over the audience, which quickly erupted in a standing ovation at the close of the program.

JULY 2016

PERFECT/UNION

Performed under the summer stars at Cal Tech's Beckman Auditorium, ArtistsPlus joined maestro Rachael Worby in an evening celebrating some of music's dynamic duos. Choreographer Jackie Kopcsak created three pieces: a Fred Astaire-inspired pas de deux to the music of George and Ira Gershwin, a quartet set to Bach's Double Concerto for Oboe and Violin and a glittery finale to John Williams iconic score for the cinematic classic, "ET."

APRIL 2016

Carmina Burana

Under the marvelous direction of conductor John Sutton, Carl Orff's dramatic score came to life at Pasadena's First United Methodist Church. Choreographers Shauna Barger and Jackie Kopcsak integrated dance throughout the piece, allowing six ArtistsPlus dancers to join the ensemble of singers, musicians and operatic soloists for this incredibly dynamic performance of "Carmina Burana."

The Unicorn, The Gorgon & The Manticore

Written by Gian Carlo Menotti and first choreographed by John Butler for the New York City Ballet in the 1950s,  ArtistsPlus had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Chorale Bel Canto's Artistic Director and maestro Stephen Gothold on this beautiful but rarely-produced piece.
